Building Use  

Markfield premises are available for hire to organisations and individuals (ie school groups or children’s parties)

for family orientated, non-profit making events.

 

You must be a member to hire.  

The Markfield membership fee is:  (it lasts for one year)

Individuals:         £1to £15 according to affordability

Organisations:   £30 (voluntary sector); £125 (other)

NOTE: Please note our premises are not licensed for alcohol, so we are not able to hire our facilities for any functions where alcohol is served.

 
Hire Rates The costs of hiring Markfield facilities are as follows (people capacity in brackets)

 

Monday – Friday

Saturday – Sunday

For use of the whole downstairs floor of the Markfield building

This includes use of the large hall/play area, the soft playroom with ball pool (8-15), dining room (20-30), downstairs kitchen, stage and PA system.(75)

 

£35/hour

 

£50/hour

Adventure playground

This includes the play structures and access to toilet facilities. (100)

£35/hour

£50/hour

Whole downstairs floor and adventure playground together (discounted rate)

 

£55/hour

 

£75/hour

For use of individual areas / rooms (please contact us)

 

£20/hour

 

£40/hour

Use of toys, play or art equipment

                          £5-9/hour


The MINIMUM period of hire is for 2 hours
